Embedding Panopto Videos in Canvas

Adding videos from Panopto is very easy. There are two ways videos can be embedded into your course.

Option 1: Module video

1. Go to the module you want to add the video.
2. Click on "+" in the module header
3. Switch the type to External Tool
4. Locate and choose Panopto Videos

5. Locate your video at the top by locating your folders and video

6. Once you locate the video you want, click the Embed circle to the left of the video

7. Locate and click Video Embed Option (with arrow)
8. Make any adjustments

9. Click Insert
10. Click Add Item
11. The video will appear at the bottom of the module.  You can move the video within the module or in between the modules.

Option 2: Page video

1. Click the Canvas page you want to add the video.
2. Click Edit
3. Place the cursor where you want the video to be embedded
4. In the Page toolbar, locate and click the Plug button

5. Locate and click on Panopto Video

6. Locate your video at the top by locating your folders and video

7. Once you locate the video you want, click the Embed circle to the left of the video

8. Locate and click Embed Option (with arrow)
9. Make any adjustments

10. Click Insert
11. Click Save or Save & Publish
