You can use Canvas's pre-defined images or upload your own custom images to make icons within the Rich Content Editor (RCE.) You can access the Rich Content Editor from Announcements, Assignments, Discussions, Pages, Classic Quizzes, and the Syllabus.

Check Accessibility
Design so that your content can be accessible to the largest number of people; please also remember to check your icons for accessibility. Some design choices might interfere with your icon's meaning, such as: Poor color contrast between text and background, Missing or inadequate alt text, Small text,Color combinations that don't consider color blindness and use color alone for meaning.

- Good contrast between text color and background color
