Scheduling meetings in CCCDZoom is straightforward. You can set your CCCDZoom settings to your preferences and safety to make it easier. You should refer to our CCCDZoom Safe Experience for more information and recommendations.
NOTE: If you are scheduling meetings for your course, please use the CCCDZoom within your Course and not this method.
- Using Chrome or Firefox, go to https://cccd-edu.zoom.us/
- Sign in using SSO (Single Sign On) and your Coast Credentials
- On the main CCCDZoom page, click on the button + Schedule a Meeting
The Schedule Meeting form appears. Complete the form from top to bottom. Here are some tips:
- Under Duration, you might want to add extra 15 minutes for Q&A or extended time
- If the meeting is repetitive, use Recurring Meeting. You can always change individual ones if needed. The advantage here is that the same meeting invite link will be for all meetings.
- Please don't hesitate to change the Passcode since this is generated by the system and will become a part of the Invite.
- The video should be off. You can always turn your video on whenever you're ready. We cannot force attendees, especially students, to use video.
- Options show additional tools you can use for meetings.
- Do not change anything in panopto.folder.context
Once you have made your Meetings settings, click on Save.
CCCDZoom will provide you with a summary screen, including the Invite link.
